Welcome to Reception Class at Llanfaes Primary School!

 Your child beginning full-time education often comes with lots of mixed feelings for your child and of course, for you as parents. This is an exciting time! Please feel assured and confident that all the children beginning here with us in Llanfaes are going to be happy and enjoy many achievements. We are looking forward to working in partnership with you, to ensure your child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Reception Class Information

Healthy Break Time Snack
Children may bring a healthy snack, such as fruit or vegetables

Reading Folder and Reading Book
Please bring your reading folder and reading book to school every Monday. New books/words will be sent home on a Friday.

Outdoor Shoes/Wellies
Please ensure your child has outdoor shoes or wellies in school for playtimes and lunchtimes, particularly during wet weather.

Water Bottle
Children should bring a named water bottle to school every day.

PE Kit
PE is school on Fridays. PE kits can be brought to school or left in school and will be sent home half termly.

Waterproofs
Please provide all in one waterproofs for Thursday’s for Thumbs up Thursday.
